Biographie
Professor Frank Aragbonfoh Abumere is a philosopher and political scientist who specialises in ethics,
political philosophy/political theory, international politics and African/Africana Studies. He has worked
in universities in three continents, namely Africa, North America and Europe. Just to mention a few of
his academic experiences, he was a visiting professor at the Centre for Studies in Ethics and Politics,
Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (Milan). Prior to visiting San Raffaele University, he was a Senior
Member of St Anthony’s College (University of Oxford), an Academic Visitor at African Studies Centre,
Oxford School of Global and Area Studies (University of Oxford) and a Visiting Research Fellow at the
Department of International History, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His latest
book is African Identities and International Politics (London and New York: Routledge, 2022).
Il fait un séjour de recherche à titre de chercheur invité au CRÉ du 1er décembre 2022 au 31 mai 2023. Son projet de recherche s’intitule« Ongoing Racism as Residual Slavery, Colonialism and Apartheid ».
