Biographie
Dr. Karin Jongsma is a Dutch bioethicist working on moral questions regarding decision making in health care settings, especially on the question under what conditions decisional authority is legitimized. She currently is an assistant professor at the University Medical Center Utrecht, department of Medical Humanities, in the Netherlands, where she mainly works together with Prof. Dr. Annelien Bredenoord. She combines her work with a post-doctoral fellowship at the University Medical Center Göttingen, department of Ethics and History of Medicine, in Germany, where she mainly works together with Prof.Dr. Silke Schicktanz.
She will be a visiting fellow at the department from 6th of September – 27th of September and will be working on a personal grant application on the topic: decision-making and decisional authority in digital health.
