Biography
Associate professor of the School of Social Science and researcher of the Territory Group of Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB) in Medellín, Colombia. Denisse completed her PhD in Justice Studies (2012) from Arizona State University and her master’s studies in France in the Institut d´Etudes Politiques Bordeaux. Her research is based on an interdisciplinary approach that combines political ecology, environmental justice, cultural and subaltern studies, as well as critical theory of law and politics.
