Biography
Oisín Deery is from Ireland. He received his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver) in 2013. In 2012-2014, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Research in Ethics (CRÉUM) at the University of Montreal, and part of a research group studying normativity (GRIN). His research interests lie at the intersection of Moral Psychology, Action Theory, Metaphysics, and Philosophy of Mind. In particular, he is interested in questions about free will and moral responsibility. He also does Experimental Philosophy on these issues.
