Biography

Jean-Philippe was the editorial coordinator of the journal Les Ateliers de l’éthique/The Ethics Forum from 2012 to 2022. From 2014 to 2022, he also worked as the coordinator of the CRÉ. In terms of research, he is trying to understand whether recent (post-1980) research in the social and cognitive sciences on self-control and autonomy should lead us to philosophically review our conceptions of what paternalistic intervention justified through public policies should be.
