SSHRC and FRQ Postdoctoral Fellowships 2020-2021
Members of the Centre for Research in Ethics (CRÉ) would be happy to support the application of researchers interested in doing a postdoctoral fellowship funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) or the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ). If you are preparing an application for one of these organizations’ competitions, if your postdoctoral research project has a significant ethical component and if you would like to do your internship under the direction of one or two of CRÉ’s co-researchers, we invite you to contact us for a pre-selection by sending us your CV and the draft of the research project you plan on submitting to SSHRC and/or FRQ.

The Centre de recherche en éthique (CRÉ) brings together researchers from numerous universities as well as from one affiliated school in Quebec, visiting researchers, post-docs, and graduate students working on subjects related to the mission of the Centre.
The CRÉ offers, since its foundation in 2002 as CRÉUM, a research environment that successfully combines the research agendas of its members. One of the strengths of the Centre lies in mobilizing all available resources to help its members to develop their projects in the priority research areas of the centre (metaethics, ethics and politics, ethics and economics, ethics and health, ethics and the environment, animal ethics and ethics of artificial intelligence). The Centre organizes and hosts numerous academic events in these fields. A majority of its postdoctoral fellows go on to tenure-track positions when leaving the CRÉ.
