Christian Nadeau writes an article titled “Ce qu’annoncent les manifestations anti-LGBTQ+” in the Ideas section of the newspaper Le Devoir.

“Despite its family squabbles, political conservatism in Quebec and Canada is increasingly dominated by the rise of intolerant movements… It only takes a little change and, as in the United States, this right will gladly see its quiet conservatism put aside in favor of a recovery of all messages of intolerance, xenophobia, denial of rights, and refusal of institutions. Although the media and the political class play a significant role in this sad story, it remains that we all have our share of responsibility. We cannot stand by when LGBTQ+ individuals are targeted.”
