As a research centre for ethics, we believe that our day-to-day activities should be guided by a concern for justice and sustainability. We are committed to reducing the negative impact of our activities on the environment as well as on human and non-human animals. For this reason, we purchase carbon-offsets for any necessary air travel and are actively investigating more sustainable alternatives to air travel in relation to CRÉ events; provide vegan and, as far as possible, fair-trade and organic food and beverages at CRÉ events; avoid the use of disposable or otherwise environmentally damaging products at the Centre; and favour electronic and digital over printed materials for our events.
