Biography
Karl-Antoine is a second-year Ph.D. student in philosophy at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). He works under the supervision of Professor Mauro Rossi. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Université de Sherbrooke (2019), a certificate in history from Université de Sherbrooke (2020) and a master’s in philosophy from Université de Montréal (2023). Between August 2024 and January 2025, Karl-Antoine will be an invited doctoral researcher at Stockholm University in Sweden.
In his doctoral thesis, Karl-Antoine addresses the problem of epistemic reliability for non-naturalist realism in a multidisciplinary manner. His research aims to evaluate how this problem impacts the different fields of knowledge that are ethics, epistemology, mathematics and logic. By proceeding thus, Karl-Antoine hopes to find new epistemic symmetries and asymmetries across academic disciplines that are often thought of in isolation.
His master’s dissertation is available here.
