Biography
Ophélie Desmons is “maître de conférences” in philosophy at INSPE Paris – Sorbonne University. She specializes in moral and political philosophy. Her work focuses on the neutrality of the State and public reason. She is interested in how the moral, civic and political education of citizens can be articulated with the neutrality of the state, while facing new challenges such as climate change and the development of just relations with non-human animals.
