Dominic Martin and Yoshua Bengio will supervise a post-doctoral fellowship on ethical alignment for AI systems. This is a fascinating and challenging area of research with a high potential of contributions between machine learning and philosophy. The postdoc will be based at Mila and the candidate must possess the relevant research expertise in machine learning, but we are also looking for a candidate with a background in philosophy, psychology or the social sciences.
